Adaku Onwuka:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Notre Dame, College of Ohio, Georgia State, Furman and Wake Forest.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Student Government, Lacrosse, Cheerleading, Diversity Club and Wesleyan Ambassadors.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Jalen Hodges.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? In 7th grade I sent a text to my mom that was meant for my boyfriend saying, “goodnight babe I love you.” My mom replied the next morning saying not sure this was meant for me but I love you too.”
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Played volleyball.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Shoki Remix” by Lil Kesh.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Ms. Trotter. She is always happy and I love her optimism about life.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My phone, Food and a friend.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Graduate from college with a Nursing degree, get into Medical School, become a Primary Care Sports Physician, be married with my 2 daughters and 1 son.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would dance.

 

Sophia Strickland:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Committed to Johns Hopkins.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Varsity Tennis, Student Government and Young Life.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Jeffery Willis in kindergarten.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Last year, I went to get my gym bag from my sister’s car. When I went to open her trunk, I couldn’t find my bag. Turns out I had gone to Austin Leath’s car instead because when I turned around him and all his friends were staring at me. Savannah’s identical black Jeep was parked a few spots down.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Applied to be a peer leader.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Somewhere Only We Know”
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Either Ms. Pera or Ms. Trotter.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A plane, a map, and unlimited Zaxby’s.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I will probably still be in medical school honestly.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Skydive, base jump, scuba dive, etc.

 

Andrew Strayhorn:

1. What colleges are you applying to?  I am going to Kennesaw State.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Marching Band, Chapel Band and AudioVisual Club.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Bailey Borreson in Kindergarden. We went on a swimming date in 2nd grade that really tied the knot in our realationship.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Everytime that Mr. Broyles walked in the bathroom right before a marching band practice and saw me dancing to music.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish that I had gotten a job in highschool and not been a poor teenager.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Troublemaker” by Olly Murs and Flo Rida.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Dean Jackson. He has been the most influenial teacher in my life and he always pulls me aside and asks how he can pray for me. Love that guy.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Friends, a house, and a bumpin’ speaker system.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?  I hope to be married and working as a technical director.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Eat. Eat a lot.

 

Sheridan Davenport:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Xavier University (in Ohio), Elon, Tufts, Georgetown, U. Richmond, Washington and Lee, Washington University, Notre Dame, UGA, Vanderbilt and SCAD.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Track and field, President of Diversity club, Art editor of Lit Mag, Wesleyan Ambassador
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Joshua Bowden.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Telling Coach Pridgen he looked cute at one of the football games.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Cheerleading
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Happy” by Pharell.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Either Mrs. Brooker or Mrs. Davis because they’re both easy to talk to. They’re truly making a difference in our world and at Wesleyan, and they’re incredible mothers; I hope to do the same.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? An extra-large snack box, music and art supplies.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?  I hope to be married with three children (Colin, Camille, and Corrine), working as the art director for Teen Vogue, and continuing to grow my social enterprise (fair trade company).
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would go to church with my entire family, tell every single person I know that I love and appreciate them, then shop until I drop.

 

Martin He:
1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, GA Tech and Cornell.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Some stuff.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? I don’t know.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Made some bad decisions.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Do good stuff.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Welcome to my House” and many other songs by Tucker Cannon.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Some good teacher.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Some good stuff.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?  Doing good stuff.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Throw a good party.

 

Peyton Prince:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Belmont, FSU, Mercer, Georgia Tech. I will be attending Belmont University.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Cross Country, Mock Trial, JV Baseball, Track, Theatre and Symphonic Band.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Madison Parks in 5th Grade.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? My first semester at Wesleyan in the 5th grade, I walked out of the Marchman locker room with nothing but a sweaty t-shirt and bright orange boxers with cartoon guitars on them. Safe to say my face turned as bright as the underwear.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Started doing theater earlier.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Doubt” by Twenty One Pilots.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Dawson Zimmerman. Need I say more?
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My music library, my Tigger pillow pet and a really comfy blanket.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope I have a wonderful, loving family and I’m the producer of a successful alternative band.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would listen to all of my favorite songs on repeat until I died. I would make sure that I told all the people I love that I love them and tell them how important they were in shaping my life.

 

Jack Greer:

1. What colleges are you applying to? I am going to Washington College.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Phillip Hart’s Detentions, 4 Years of Basketball, 2 years of Football and 1 Mosaic 7/9 meeting.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Allison Loach in 5th grade. Saw her in Mrs. Sulsburger’s class for the first time ever.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Some random kid came to our AAU practice in 8th grade and crossed me and made me fall in front of everyone and my coach was in tears.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Pulled out my phone in class less last semester.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Watch Me” Silento.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Coach Frazier. He has an abundance of state championship rings and plays sports with kids during the day.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? GTA 5, gummies and Kevin.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Laid back with a couple small Jacks running around.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Not sure about the first 23 hours and 55 minutes, but the last 5 minutes of my life you can definitely catch me running onto the field during a major sporting event and juking out security.

 

Clare McKeon:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Dartmouth, Brown, Vanderbilt, Villanova, Furman and Clemson.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Swimming, Ballet, Track, water polo manager, Hand in Hand, SALSA, Ambassadors and Literary Magazine.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Kyle Rappe, 9th grade.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? While walking up the steps this year I tripped over my wallabees. In an attempt to brace my fall, my hands instinctively went out in front of me, looking for something to grab. Unfortunately, that ended up being the butt of one of my fellow, male classmates… Sorry about that one Tyler Harper.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Played water poloooooo or done a theater production.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Don’t Be So Hard on Yourself” by Jess Glynne.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Tamel because he proudly sports beanies and goes with the flow.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My cat, an iPod, and a lot of sunscreen.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be married and living somewhere in South America working on my Spanish skills.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Charter a jet to the great state of Florida and finally fulfill my lifelong dream of seeing the world’s largest rubber band ball.

 

Tanner Moore:

1. What colleges are you applying to?  I will be attending GCSU.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Football, Lacrosse, Wrestling, Dentistry Club, and Rocketry Club.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Mary Russell in 8th grade.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Picture Gate 2k14.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Learned how to properly cite my papers earlier in my high school career.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Crazy=Genius” by Panic At the Disco.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Skipper Gholston because he lives everyday with the kind of joy that I want in my life.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Spotify Premium, a hatchet, and a functional firearm
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Managing a successful political campaign with a beautiful wife and a son.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Spend time with the people I love and go sky diving.

 

Yasmine Brooks:

1. What colleges are you applying to? I applied to UGA, Auburn and Mercer but I plan on going to Mercer.
2. What were you involved with in high school? I was in marching band and winter drum line.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush?  Nick Montano for .02 seconds in 7th grade.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? The time I fell in one of the bushes near the bleachers at the football stadium trying to prep for marching band. It is a long story but I was stuck and after falling in the bush, I had twigs and leaves covering me for days.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had done crew for a play, more service and just generally been more involved in the community.
6. What is the theme song to your life? Complete and utter silence.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would be Mrs. Trotter so I could see what life is like for someone who differs so much from me in personality, mindset and outlook on life. Or Mrs. Wischerth because she is my favorite human.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? If I’m being unrealistic and not thinking about survival at all, I would bring my Scooby Doo blanket, my Spotify playlist, and Jaucqir Lafond to keep me amused.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?  I don’t think about the future much but hopefully I’ll be alive, fairly happy, and be a decent person working to improve the lives of others in any way, big or small, that I can.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours?I would just hang with family and friends and maybe do/try some things that I wouldn’t normally think of. It’d be turnt.

 

Jordan Weaver:

1. What colleges are you applying to? The U (Miami, FL), SMU, Clemson, Auburn, North Carolina and Ole Miss.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Football, track, Peer Leadership, SLW and Senior Support Club.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Camille High and Ellie Hall.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Freshman year I dated this girl with the same last name as me and everyone made fun of me for dating my cousin even though we weren’t related. Then she broke up with me after the first date.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Played baseball, soccer, or basketball.
6. What is the theme song to your life?  “Make My Dreams” Hall & Oates.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Mr. Custer, he is a super cool guy and he’s also so knowledgeable about the Bible.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A boat, a wakeboard, and a nice girl who could drive that boat.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to have a loving wife, kids, and be surrounded by loving people.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Drive to the mountains and go skiing with a few of my closest friends. Then I’d tell my family that I love them.
Kevin Stipe:

1. What colleges are you applying to? I am going to Davidson college.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Football, Track and Rec Basketball.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Kaitlin English.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Getting chewed out freshmen year by a track coach at a track meat for throwing grapes at John McCleskey.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Started a food fight in the cafeteria.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Kno One” by Kevin Gates.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Ms. Barbara because she works for Sage.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My friends, my ThinkPad and the Sage Dining crew.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully, have a job somewhere in the sports realm, have a family, and a nice house.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Hangout with my family and go screw around with my buddies.

Haydon Koch:
1. What colleges are you applying to? Florida State, LSU, South Carolina and Auburn.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Lacrosse, Water Polo, Wrestling, Young Life and Model Arab League.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? MadisonParksMusic in Kindergarten.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Accidentally replying something very inappropriate to the News and Notes and having to explain myself to Mrs. Gilbert (asking her if she had a kik).
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Went to more Jersey Nights.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Blue Sky” by The Allman Brothers Band.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Mrs. Morris because she is a delightful woman with a model family.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Music, lots of fresh fruit and a hammock.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Graduated from business school and pursuing a career.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Sleep.

 

Benji Johnson:

1. What colleges are you applying to? United States Naval Academy, United States Coast Guard Academy and Georgia Tech.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Soccer, cross country, Honor council, Peer Leadership and wolf ambassadors.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? I don’t remember.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Junior year I was giving an AP Capstone presentation and I hadn’t eaten anything in about 16 hours and I didn’t sleep much the night before. I passed out in the middle of speaking.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Football.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Voice of Truth” by Casting Crowns.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Coach Wolf because of his patience, work ethic, humor and character.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Milk, my Jeep and a knife.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I want to be a Navy Seal.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Give as much as I could to other people.

 

Sydney Weissman:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Ole Miss, Samford and GCSU.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Young Life, Mission Trips (Dominican, Guatemala, Atlanta), Spirit Club/captain, Senior Support Club, Varsity Lacrosse, Swimming and Water polo.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Alex Thompson in the 9th grade. We’ve been going strong for four years now!!! Love you Alex
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Coincidently, it involves Alex Thompsons Dad. I was in QT with my friends and I had to go to the bathroom really bad, so I made my friend (Ellie Hall) guard the door and I ran in to the boy’s bathroom. As I walked out of the boy’s bathroom, I bumped into Mr. Thompson. He was so confused why I was in the boy’s bathroom and I just giggled, said “Hi Mr. Thompson,” and ran away.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Volleyball/ Been a soccer goalie.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Walking on Sunshine” Katrina & The Wave.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Alex Bufton because she is my twin. Also she has great clothes, she’s sweet and hilarious.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Spotify Premium with a speaker, Friends and food.
9. What do you hope your life will be in 10 years? Hopefully, enjoying life doing something I love.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would go wakeboarding, surfing, ride horses and sky dive.

 

Leo Mateu:

1. What colleges are you applying to?  UGA, Clemson, Furman and Auburn.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Swimming, Water Polo, Peer Leadership and SALSA.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Marti Duke.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I was in Willies sitting on a stool, and I had crossed my legs around it. I started to lean back, and then I fell to the ground in the middle of the place because I couldn’t move my legs.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Not procrastinated, it’s a serious issue for me.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Whatcha Say” by Jason Derulo.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Matt Cole. If you know Mr. Cole, you understand why.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Lots of sunscreen, a knife and “Dark Horse” by Nickelback.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully, I will have a job.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would go fishing with my friends.
Mason Borucki:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Furman, UGA and Hampden-Sydney College.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Varsity Basketball.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Olivia Larner…. That’s it….
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? One time, I lost 22-0 to @ChrisMiddleton.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Got together with my number 1 most compatible match, Abigail Mitchell.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “White Iverson” Post Malone.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why?  Stephen Mihalko, what can I say? A truly incredible teacher.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Chess Board, Chess Timer and Tyler Harper
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Playing in the D-Leagues, waiting for the call from the Hawks to bring me up.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would probably go workout at Crunch Fitness, then go tell everyone that I am working out there.
