  1. What colleges are you applying to? Furman, Virginia Tech, Auburn and Wofford.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? JVB XC, Wrestling, Soccer and Mission Trips.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Riley Casey in 7th grade.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When Ms. Karen yelled at me in the lunchroom in front of the whole high school for spilling a ton of sweet tea in front of the bagel bar and not cleaning it up junior year. It took a couple months to live that down.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Model Arab League.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “We Built this City” by Starship.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Cooper. He’s the man.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Garage door opener, deflated balloon, blown out tire from the highway.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully living somewhere in the northeast or northwest making millions of dollars.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Probably make preparations to have my body launched into the sun when I die, this will be possible on account of the millions of dollars.

  2. What were you involved with in high school? Softball, Lacrosse and Omicron Service Society.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Ricardo Hurtado, freshman year.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Freshman year, I accidentally walked into the guys’ locker room while there were a ton of guys in there.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I would’ve joined Omicron freshman year and also would’ve run for student government.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Hoedown Throwdown” by Miley Cyrus.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would want to be Mrs. Brown because she is funny, super smart and amazing at math.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Luv-a-bowl, a rocking mixed tape, and my dog.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I want to have finished all of my schooling and become a pediatrician living in California on the beach and married.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would eat as much food as humanly possible, go skydiving and bungee jumping, go to the beach, and hang out with my friends and family.

Allie Bell

  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? 6th grade.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? A play.

  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would be Madame McCauley because of her dry, but witty sense of humor.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Food, water, and a boat.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Not broke and living in my parents’ basement.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Go back to Assisi, Italy.

Joseph Berney

  1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, GT, Furman, Virginia Tech, and Clemson.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Water polo, Golf, Vet Club and Diving.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Abbie Lochmandy in 6th grade.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment?  Back flopping in a middle school dive meet.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had taken a free period senior year.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Multiplied” by NEEDTOBREATHE.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. McDaniel. I don’t think he does anything but cross country, track, and peer leadership. I don’t think I would mind that.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? I would take a fishing rod, speaker with music, and my dog.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Finished with Medical School and living in Colorado.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Probably would see all my family and then go do a bunch of outdoors stuff and eat a lot of good food.

Sid Brendel

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Georgia, Missouri, University of Tampa, Clemson, Auburn and Furman.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? In high school, I did lacrosse, football, wrestling and theater. Also, I was part of the Creative Writing Club and a proud member of the acapella club. I attended SLW, and I was involved with Young Life.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Because I was new, I had a lot of crushes, some of which were Becca Settlage, Barrett Ramsey, Lily Rudder, Sarah Moon, etc. Also, my forever crush Kylie Reed. You may be asking yourselves why so many juniors? I came sophomore year, but most of my classes were with the freshmen.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When I was at camp, I decided to go fishing in the morning before breakfast. After an hour or two of fishing, everyone at camp was waiting outside, so they could go into the dining hall. Once I saw the masses building up, I decided it was time to put my fishing gear back in the cabin. I packed up my fishing gear, and I was headed towards the cabin. The only issue was that I had to walk a 100 feet of dock before I got to land. Which really isn’t that far, maybe 20 steps, but of course my 7 year old self couldn’t walk that distance. I took two steps, maybe 5 feet, before I noticed that my right foot wasn’t connecting with the dock, like the previous two steps. The next moment I was drenched. I then had to walk past the ENTIRE camp soaking wet, fishing rod in hand, almost as if I had just caught the Loch Ness monster.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had taken part in a water polo game, or at least a scrimmage.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Grillz” by Nelly or really anything by Wattyc_Dank.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Zimmerman. He’s got it all: the hair, the job, the university, and most of all the strap. That man can shoot a basketball!
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? I would bring a fishing pole, Bryce Green, and a golden retriever puppy.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope that in 10 years, I will have found my future wife and have a job that I am passionate about.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would see Malcolm Anderson for a superb counseling/mind-reading session, hangout with my friends, fly to Australia and see what it’s like, then I would watch Napoleon Dynamite.

Will Brown

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Naval Academy, Auburn and South Carolina.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Cross Country, Wrestling and Track.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Allie Bell.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Being Homecoming representative freshman year.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had been more outgoing and talked to people more, just kidding, I don’t wish that at all.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Renegades” by X Ambassadors.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Dean Jackson. He taught American Literature, the only real literature there is, and he coaches middle school Track.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A knife, 200 ft. of Para cord, and a piece of pyrophoric Ferro cerium. I’d survive.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? In the Marine Corps, doing something on the other side of the world.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would try to do something positive for the world, something radical.

Sara Carmichael

  1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, UNC at Chapel Hill, Georgia Tech, Rice and Brown.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Mock trial, math team, SALSA, Ambassadors and a mission trip to Guatemala.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Colin Hall, 6th grade (oh the Woodward days…).
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? The entire first year of mock trial (public speaking was not my strong suit).
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had joined more clubs sooner, particularly Creative Writing Club.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Sometimes You’re the Hammer, Sometimes You’re the Nail” by A Day To Remember.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would be Mrs. Morris because her sarcasm is on point.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My dogs, sunscreen, and a bunch of debt per Morgan Biagioni’s advice (the credit card companies will pursue me to the ends of the earth to make sure I pay up, don’t need to worry about never being found).
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I would like to be pursuing my career in computer science or medicine while finding time to travel as much and as far as possible.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I’d want to go scuba diving for the last time and spend time with my friends and family.

Linsey Cartmill

  1. What colleges are you applying to? I am applying to GCSU, Augusta University and University of North Georgia.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Marching band and Winter Guard.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Carson Jerding in Kindergarten.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I have several, but there was a time when a lady was on the phone and I thought she was talking to me (I didn’t see the phone or anything) and so I was being polite and responded when she asked “how are you?” and “how was your day?” The lady then had to look at me and tell me she wasn’t talking to me and I left feeling like an idiot.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish that I had gotten closer with people in my grade and also gotten to know my teachers better starting freshman year.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? I guess it would be “Defying Gravity” from Wicked.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Ms. Trotter because she is a fun person who also has a great sense of fashion.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? I would want a fridge with unlimited food supply, some sort of shelter, and one of my pets.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be working as a Physician’s Assistant and to hopefully be in a serious relationship.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would spend my days with my family, friends, and pets and possibly blow all my money that I have left just for one last day of fun.

Michaela Harper

  1. What colleges are you applying to?  Samford, Clemson, Auburn, UGA, UNG, Young Harris College and Berry.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Lacrosse, Softball, Omicron Service Society, Prom Committee and Yearbook.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Conner Day.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? In Middle school, my phone went off but it wasn’t just any cute simple ringtone it was the “Lil mama” Lip-gloss song. It went off four times during class because my teacher couldn’t figure out how to turn it off and the whole class laughed at me. I cried.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school?  I wish that I had gotten involved with YL.
  6. What is the theme song to your life?  “Brown Eyed Girl” by Van Morrison.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would be Mrs. Godard because she is basically the funniest and sweetest person ever.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My phone with unlimited data/ solar panel, Brooklyn Beckham, and Chick-fil-A.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I want to hopefully be owning my own dental practice and happily engaged or married.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would spend time with friends and family in Riviera Maya Mexico.

Abrianna Harris

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Emory, University of Chicago, Haverford, UGA, Columbia and Vassar.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Theater, Marching Band (Color Guard), Girls’ Trio, Chapel Band, Creative Writing Guild and Vocal Assault.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Andrew Sabonis-Chafee.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? During new student orientation my freshman year, I fell down a flight of stairs in the fine arts building in front of everybody there. They were all nice about it but I was still pretty embarrassed anyway.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? No regrets.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Bad Romance” by Lady Gaga.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would be Mrs. Morris because she both looks fantastic and is incredibly relatable.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Cinnamon rolls, fresh water and matches.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Filled with gainful employment and plenty of laughter.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would eat too much lasagna and attend as many last minute Broadway shows as physically possible.

Richard He

  1. What colleges are you applying to? For now, Middlebury, Boston College, Babson, Emory, Williams and UGA.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? XC, golf, business club and math team (one time).
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Not quite sure, maybe Abby Gardner at 9th grade.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? On freshman retreat, I didn’t know Mr. Lisson was a teacher, so I called him Lisson at first.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Football.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “All Roads Lead Home” by Golden State.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Young. Because he is always so calm and in control and passionate in what he did. He also knows where the secret tunnels are.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A pilot, a Lockheed Martin F-35, and a tank of gas.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I will invent cures for cancer and HIV and have the money to study different religions through traveling for the rest of my life.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Liquidate all I have; give half of them to my family and friends, and donate the other half to Red Cross.

Craig Jones

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Georgia Tech, Morehouse, Princeton, Carnegie Mellon and ITT Tech.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Marching Band, Science Bowl and the Wrong Crowd.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? I plead the fifth, which doesn’t even make any sense, but you can’t stop me from doing it.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Once, I did something really embarrassing. It was so embarrassing that I’ve decided no one would ever know.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Nothing, really. I feel pretty accomplished with what I’ve done.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Olson” by Boards of Canada. It has such an introspective, yet haunting sound.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Definitely would be Mr. Yoder. Got to get those Cool Points™ to get myself out of Cool Bankruptcy™.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A radio, an axe, and a bundle of duct tape. Islands aren’t my favorite places.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Pursuing what I love. What that is has yet to be decided, but whatever it is, I’ll want to do it.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Reaching out and helping those less fortunate.

Sophia Kidder

  1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Emory, Oglethorpe, Berry and Furman.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Science Bowl, Mock Trial, Cross Country and Track and Field.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Ricardo Hurtado.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? At cross country practice one day last year, I got a safety pin stuck in my ankle when we were doing mile repeats. It was such a fluke thing. Unable to finish the run, Mr. Mayfield and Ms. Trotter had to carry me all the way across the long field back to the natatorium.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? One of the plays.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Something Big” by Shawn Mendes.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Madame McCauley because she makes French class fun!
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My running shoes, one last chipotle burrito bowl, and a photo of my family.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to have become really successful in my career. I also hope to be traveling the world and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would gather my family and friends and fly to the nearest beach for some relaxation.

  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Not sure.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Joined the water polo team.

  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Dustin Wolf because he lifts for a living.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Chick-fil-A, a house, and a boat.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Retired, I wish.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Go somewhere cool like Hawaii with my friends and family and just hang out.

Madison Darsey

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Samford, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Auburn.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Varsity volleyball manager, Marching Band and Omicron.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? John Morris in 1st grade.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I was walking dogs this summer at the vet where I worked and it had been raining really hard so the ground was really slippery and muddy, and it was around 5 PM which is when all the owners come to pick up their dogs from boarding, so there were a lot of people coming in and out. So, of course, I slip on a tree root and fall flat on my face and get covered in mud from head to foot right in front of everyone…and they all saw it happen and just pretended they didn’t notice.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Probably be in a musical.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Note to Self” by Ben Rector.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Ms. Noble because she always dresses really cute and she’s just the sweetest person ever and hanging out with her in the college advising office was my favorite thing. She’s a great listener.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Water, a boat so I could leave, and Netflix.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Married and maybe kids, lots of traveling, and working as a nurse in the ICU or ER.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Rob a bank then use the money to go travel around the world with family and friends.
