  1. What colleges are you applying to? Georgia Tech, University of Virginia, University of Georgia and Auburn.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Cheerleading, lacrosse, chapel band, peer leadership, Ambassadors, Vet Club, SALSA and Student Led Worship.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Patrick Ramsey in 7th grade.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Two years ago, I had to pray after I played in my church’s youth band.  I was on the microphone praying over a children’s ministry, and I said, “Dear Lord, please let us touch the children… not in that way… amen.”  The whole youth group was dying laughing, and I don’t think I’ve ever turned so red.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Model Arab League.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “In My Shades” from Starstruck.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Brittany Haverty because she’s so sweet, cute, and funny!  She’s awesome to be around, and her accent is the best.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Good music, good books, and sunscreen.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully married with a job and lots of time to travel.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would get my whole family and all my friends together, and we’d hop on a flight to Venice.  There, we would eat some pizza and pasta, and go on a boat ride through the canals.

Bryce Cook

  2. What were you involved with in high school? Soccer.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Abigail Mitchell.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Sadie sophomore year.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Basketball.

  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Antonio. He’s a soccer player and everyone likes him.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Music, soccer ball, and my dog.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Retired.

Harrison Cook

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Ole Miss and Auburn. It depends on football.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Football, basketball and track.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Georgia Kuehn…
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Not sure. Dropping a touchdown pass at the end of the GAC game sophomore year.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I definitely wished that I found a way to leave Coach Khedouri’s advisor group.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Jack Sparrow” by the Lonely Island.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Coach Baxley; everyone loves him and he coaches football and track.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My dog, food and Harambe.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Like Johnny Manziel’s minus the rehabilitation.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Watch Atlanta in the Super Bowl this year.

James Claffey

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Purdue, Virginia Tech and University of Michigan.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Water Polo and swimming.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Sam Laurite.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Getting “pantsed” in middle school at a football game by Bill Doran and then tripping on my pants and falling over.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Model Arab League.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Can’t Stop” by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Cleveland because he’s the big man on campus.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Netflix, music and sunscreen.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Ballin’. Probably still in school though.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Break the highest sky diving record and then fly around in a wing suit with my boys.

Mikayla Coombs

  1. What colleges are you applying to? University of Connecticut.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? SALSA, ambassadors, basketball and track.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Kyler Duley.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? My most embarrassing moment would probably be when Grant Summers “pantsed” me in front of everyone at Disney World. There is honestly nothing more embarrassing than being known as the “little girl in the middle of Disney with no pants on.”
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I would have been on student government.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Closer” by the Chainsmokers.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Madame McCauley. She practically runs the place.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Water, food and my cell phone with Netflix.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be a sports broadcaster on ESPN and happily married.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would take all my friends and family members and go hang out with them on an island somewhere.

Xavier Cooper

  1. What colleges are you applying to? TCU, Baylor and UVI.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Band, theater, acapella club, jazz club, music club, band, basketball, creative writing club and probably other things.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Barrett Ramsey way back in kindergarten.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Literally the entirety of my life is just one long embarrassing moment. (Also, that one time I had to wear a shirt as pants for band practice because I forgot my shorts).
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? More of everything. I really wanted to try winter guard/VPE.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Bet Against Me” by Watsky.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Archer. The dude is a legend.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Drum kit, satellite phone and a Solar charger.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I should be out of post-grad and in medical school by then.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I’d pull a ‘My name is Earl’ and try and get right by as many people as possible then end the day with my crew playing the new Far Cry or something.

Tripp Copenhaver

  1. What colleges are you applying to? San Diego State University and Cal Poly San Louis Obispo.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Football, tennis, Student Government, water polo and robotics.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Leila Jordan.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Water Polo.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Soccer.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Breed” by Nirvana.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Alvis.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Tattoo kit, surfboard and good vibes.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I just hope I’m alive in 10 years.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? “Borrow” a plane, fly to Cali, skydive into the water with scuba gear, scuba, and go into the beach riding a wave. If I make it that far I’ll head over to SDSU.

Sam Gottlich

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Texas A&M, Baylor and Auburn.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Football and lacrosse.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Abbie Lochmandy.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? It’s cliché, but when I was a freshman I tripped down the stairs in front of a bunch of upper classmen and they laughed.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Been more involved with different clubs and other sports.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Money Longer” by Lil Uzi Vert.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Coach Dudley because he is a funny, chill guy.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A knife, fishing line and a sleeping bag.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be done with college, have a well-paying job, and a wife.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Spend time having fun with my friends and family doing whatever I wanted.

Zach Green

  1. What colleges are you applying to? I am applying to the University of Georgia, Alabama Honors, Ole Miss Honors and The University of Southern California.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? I was in Water Polo, Swimming, Baseball, Mock Trial, Theater and Acapella Club.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Barrett Ramsey back in back in ‘04 (Kindergarten).
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? If you know me I do not get embarrassed often but I would have to say my most embarrassing moment was in Chapel a couple of weeks ago. Mr. Plunk made an ambiguous comment about how he needed senior volunteers to help him out for the next segment of his devotion. I thought he was asking for volunteers so I stood up to give a helping hand. Turns out he already had the volunteers that he wanted and one of those was not me. I had to go walk back to my seat while the whole high school looked and laughed.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Student Government.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “I’ll Be There for You” by The Rembrandts.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Definitely Lt. Colonel Hendricks so I could drive the classic Genesis Coop.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? I would have the album “California” by Blink 182, a boom box and a water filtration system.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? In ten years I am hoping to have graduated from Stanford/University of Southern California law school and be living in Los Angeles with a wife.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would hang out with friends in New York City and see what Broadway shows I could.

Abbey Gritters

  1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Auburn, Alabama, Mercer, NC State and University of South Carolina.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Volleyball, track, swimming and diving, hand-in-hand and student ambassador.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Callen Davidson.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? My most embarrassing moment was freshman year when I was moving backwards right before a point started in a volleyball game, and I tripped and fell in front of everyone.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had tried out other sports throughout high school.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Happiness” by NEEDTOBREATHE.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Zavitz because she is a very fun and caring person.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My best friend, my dogs, and my family.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to have graduated from college, have a good job and be married.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would hike a mountain and go hang gliding to get down from the mountain.

Justin Gustafson

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Auburn, Clemson, Rhodes and Sewanee.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Baseball.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Charis Thompson in 6th grade orientation.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I rear-ended a guy pulling out of Wesleyan the first month I had my license, and all of my friends drove by laughing at me and everyone knew I got in a wreck.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I kind of always wanted to go to the Honor Council once.  So I’m glad that it never happened but I feel like I missed out.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Where the Hood At” by DMX.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Cleveland, because I would be in charge of everything!
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My bible, a copy of the Wesleyan Honor Code and my chapel uniform.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I’ll live somewhere close to a golf course and be a lazy golf dad.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I just hope I die after the Cubs win the World Series.  It’s going to happen.

Olivia Jordan

  1. What colleges are you applying to? University of South Carolina, Ole Miss, Auburn and Texas Christian University.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? SALSA, Prom Committee, Omicron, volleyball and Lit Mag.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Michael Payne.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Christian Stark shouted me out in his Instagram picture from his signing day. I was in the back picking up ice from the cup I dropped. He didn’t know who I was, but a bunch of my friends tagged me and it was really embarrassing.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Water polo.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Crazy Beautiful Life” by Ke$ha.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Myrick, she’s the best.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Ben & Jerry’s “The Tonight Dough”, a book and a puppy.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully I have a job in a cool city, maybe a husband and kids, definitely a dog.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Do something super adventurous and dangerous like skydiving or just spend a day on the lake.

Jameson Kavel

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Duke.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Softball, basketball and mission trips.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Cole Batchelor in kindergarten.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment?  The basketball team went to see Insidious. I don’t like scary movies, so I pulled out my phone to watch Netflix instead. The sound was turned all the way up, and it said “previously on One Tree Hill” so loud that everyone turned and glared at me during a really suspenseful part of the movie.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Played tennis.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “The Show Goes On” by Lupe Fiasco.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Leslie Grogan because she’s awesome.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Family, good music and Willy’s.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Married and graduated from college.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Check things off my bucket list with my family and closest friends.

Morgan Keller

  2. What were you involved with in high school? Volleyball, Team Omicron, track, ambassadors, peer leadership and last year’s Atlanta mission trip.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Nick Eversbusch in 6th grade.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? My freshman year, John Morris “Lebroned” me in front of a bunch of teachers. I was walking in the hallway and out of nowhere he threw himself into me, then dropped to the floor, acting as if I was the one who ran into him. Mr. Custer witnessed it all and asked me about what source of anger led me to knock another student over. At the time I thought he was being serious, so I was absolutely mortified.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Maybe a musical.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Burnin’ Up” by Jonas Brothers.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Cooper. It would be pretty cool to have his incredible sense of humor and a crazy amount of interesting knowledge.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My sister Riley, my dog Dodger and a helicopter.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I will hopefully be working as a materials engineer on a super cool project. I would also like to be living somewhere nice with my awesome future husband!
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would spend my last day relaxing at the lake with my friends and family.

Georgia Kuehn

  1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Clemson and College of Charleston.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Cheerleading, track and field, Vet Club and Bible study.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Lawson Forro.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Freshman year, I was at dinner with Kyler, Grant, and Kelsey. We were praying over our food, and I decided to chuck a piece of tin foil at Kyler. When I threw it, Kyler went to block it and knocked over his Sprite. The drink spilled all over my white shorts. My shorts were completely see-through, and I had to get my sister to bring me another pair.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Lit Mag.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “The Good Stuff” by Kenny Chesney.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Morris because she is such a sweet lady and all of her students love her.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Three friends to suffer with.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be a successful doctor with a husband and family.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would try every single flavor of ice cream in the world.
