What was your dream job when you were a little kid verses what is your dream job now? When I was little, I wanted to be an astronaut or firefighter; now I want to be involved in commercial real estate or construction management.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years? With a wife and children, working in a major city.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? Sophomore year, Pierce Rudder told Jordyn Shackford I was going to ask her to homecoming. I did not know her at all and didn’t even know who she was. I then had to go the whole next day at school telling her friends that I was not asking her to homecoming.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? A cookout tray; hamburger, chicken nuggets, fries and an Oreo mint shake.
What are you most excited and scared for when entering your first year of college? I’m excited to go to football games. I’m scared that I won’t get to see my friends from high school much.
Liza Yates

Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Mr. Riley, 6th grade.
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you?
My dogs, Publix frosted cookies and lavender sleep spray.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid verses what is your dream job now? When I was little, I wanted to be a star of a Broadway musical. Now I want to be an interior designer.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully I will be running a successful business, married and have kids.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? Having to wear a suit at prom when I was a sophomore to take pictures, very embarrassing.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? Chicken fingers.
What are you most excited and scared for when entering your first year of college? I’m most excited to meet new people and getting to work towards earning a major in something I love, but I’m scared to be out of my comfort zone.
Braden Thorne
What college are you going to/ applying to? I am applying to Georgia Tech, Michigan, UPenn, Virginia Tech and Clemson.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? My first Wesleyan crush was Kensie Pierce in sixth grade.
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you?
First of all, I would probably throw in a box of Cheerios to befriend the native birds. In anticipation of their eventual attempt at retaliation, I would most likely have to equip myself with a squirt bottle to reassert dominance over my growing army of pelicans. In case of an emergency, I may need to go so far as to pack my collection of Little Einstein DVDs for them to sing along with in the evenings.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
When I was little, my dream job was to be a Film Director. Now, I want to be either an entrepreneur or work as an engineer at Disney World.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years?Hopefully in some form of shelter with food, clothing and water – maybe even with my own Minecraft Let’s Play series on YouTube or something.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? So I got a little excited at Homecoming Junior Year and decided to explore my “range-of-motion” while dancing. However, while pushing my knee flexors to the limit, I ripped my pants SpongeBob-style, completely exposing my freshly cleaned undies.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? A Chick-fil-A number one deluxe with Colby Jack instead of American, no tomato, with a packet of Chick-fil-A sauce spread evenly between the bottom bun and lettuce, along with a side salad with ½ a packet of Fat-Free Honey Mustard dressing, tied together with a ½ Coke, ½ Coke Zero because of calories.
What are you most excited and scared for when entering your first year of college? In all seriousness, I’m excited for the freedom to dive into the things that truly interest me. I can’t wait for a “new start,” but at the same time, I’m scared of looking back on my high school years and having regret about the things I did or didn’t do. Regardless, I know I’m going to have the time of my life and am so excited for a new chapter.

What college are you going to/ applying to? I am going to Tennessee.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Lucy Mitchell in fifth and sixth grades.
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you? A knife, sunscreen and a water bottle.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now? I wanted to be a baseball player and I still want to be a baseball player.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully, I will have a wife by then and a career that makes me happy.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? Wyatt Copeland, Josh Morris and I during our freshman season in football were convinced by the senior guys on the team that we needed to invite the senior girls to hang out with the football team after practice one day. So we messaged all the senior girls we could think of and invited them to hang out with the football team and no one responded and it turned out just to be a joke the seniors were playing on us.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? A cheeseburger and fries.

What college are you going to/ applying to? I am applying to UGA, Clemson, Auburn, TCU, Baylor, Kentucky and Ole Miss.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Holden Wilder in ninth grade.
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you?
I would bring Tyler Cameron, my “grandma” sweater (my friends call it that because it looks like my grandma would wear it…) and green tea.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid verses what is your dream job now? My dream job as a kid was a fashion designer but now, I want to be a clinical nutritionist.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years? I would hope to be successful in my job as a nutritionist and have written a book. I hope to be happily married and living in a big white brick house in Nashville, Tennessee with our Golden Doodle.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? I was part of work crew at the Freshman Retreat and Chris O’ Sullivan asked me to get him an apple and toss it to him at his table. I got him one and threw it to him but somehow it took a 90 degree turn and hit Holden Wilder in the head then continued to knock over all their cups and a pitcher of water. Everyone looked up and I was so embarrassed.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? The Robiola Fritta salad from the restaurant Novo Cucina — It has arugula, almond crusted goat cheese, peppers, chicken, and balsamic vinaigrette. I’m obsessed.
What are you most excited and scared for when entering your first year of college? I am most excited to start new and meet new people through joining a sorority, my classes, and around campus. I am scared/not excited to not have my own room and to share a bathroom with a bunch of people.

What college are you going to/ applying to? I am going to William and Mary for basketball.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Well I’ve only been here for less than two years, so my first Wesleyan crush was Robert Johnson my first year here, junior year. More like a friend crush because he was just so nice to me as the new girl.
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you? I would bring music somehow, a hammock and lots of snacks.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid verses what is your dream job now? I used to want to be a singer, but then I realized how bad I am. Now I want to do something related to criminology.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years? Hopefully, I have a successful job, and my three dream dogs named Colby, Jack, and Cheddar. Also, being married would be nice.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? One day my junior year when it was raining I was running late to school. So I ran inside, but the ground was very slippery. I ran down the stairs to see if I could make the bell and fell right down. Luckily, only one person saw and they let out a little laugh and kept walking.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? Definitely quesadillas because I love cheese but also you can make each quesadilla with different ingredients.
What are you most excited and scared for when entering your first year of college?I’m excited to get out of Georgia and play for a brand new basketball team. I’m scared to leave my family because they are moving across the country when I graduate.

What college are you going to/ applying to? Asbury University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Mars Hill University and Duke Kunshan University.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Win Moreland in seventh grade.
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you? I would need a boat so I can get off the island, food and water so I can get that nutrition, and sunscreen, because I’m a redhead. In case you didn’t know, we burn easily.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid verses what is your dream job now? My “dream job” has changed a million times. I used to want to be a photographer or a chiropractor, but now I want to help people, probably in the mission field.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years? I just want to be happy. Even if I’m not that successful or doing well, it doesn’t matter as long as I’m happy with what I’ve done with my life.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? I honestly don’t really embarrass myself to the extent that it sticks out as the “most embarrassing moment”. However, I have fallen off a curb right before the crosswalk people use to walk to the lake lots, and I have fallen off a curb in the lake lots, and I fell off the last step in one of the staircases in Cleghorn once. There were so many people around every time and the worst part is that all of these falls occurred last year.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? Probably spaghetti and garlic bread, with some ice cream for dessert.
What are you most excited and scared for when entering your first year of college? I’m excited to learn new things while experiencing life in a new place. I guess I’m nervous to dictate my own life and make my own decisions. I’m also worried that I’ll make decisions that aren’t beneficial or right for the path I want to take in life.

Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Grace Emmelhainz, freshman/sophomore year.
If you were stranded on an island, what three things would you bring with you? My 3ds, my copy of Pokémon X, a bottle of ginger ale.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid verses what is your dream job now? Never had a dream job.
Where do you expect to see yourself in 10 years? Comfortable with money and unmarried.
What was your most embarrassing moment at Wesleyan? While walking with my bass drum, I tripped and wiped out right in front of the color guard rehearsal.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be? My homemade tuna salad.
What are you most excited and scared for when entering your first year of college? I’m excited to be away from my parents and scared to be away from my parents.
