The wait is finally over, Sadie is here. High school students, get ready to dance the night away Saturday, Feb. 25, night from eight to eleven at Candler Plaza. The theme, which was announced in Jan. at Monday morning meeting, is “Kick the Dust Up.”

Students should come dressed in their best country attire, but remember to plan appropriately according to the weather. To go along with this year’s theme, the Student Government has rented a mechanical bull for students’ enjoyment.

Student Government Representative Daniel Salyers said, “I am definitely most excited about the mechanical bull that we will have for the dance. I mean, who doesn’t love watching people fall off of things?” Salyers also said that students should look forward to lots of snacks. The student government worked tirelessly to make this year’s Sadie dance one of the best in the past years. With the mechanical bull, cute country theme, and great music, the dance has great potential to be a success.

Everyone should expect an enjoyable night and maybe even a few bruises.

[Instead], we are recognizing students of high character who were also good athletically.”
