Jack Connors:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Cornell, Villanova, Catholic U, Sewanee, George Washington, UGA and Massachusetts Maritime.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Model Arab League, Rocket Club, Cross Country and Lacrosse.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Maddie Frye, Junior year.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? First day ever at Wesleyan, I walked into the wrong science class and didn’t realize I was in the wrong class until the period was almost over.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Continued my career in the high school yearbook.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Joshua C. Smith. His hair cut and beard really balance each other out, but most importantly he is an awesome guy who truly cares about everyone.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Guy Fieri, a camp stove, and all of the blockbuster films from the 80s.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully, I will be living in the suburbs with my Bernese mountain dog and a nice 401k.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would thank all the people who made a difference in my life.

Carter Gravitt:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Baylor, TCU, Furman and UGA.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Theater, XC, Peer Leadership and Footsie Foursquare Club.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Marti Duke, in second grade.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? In 7th grade, I was home alone and after taking a shower, I remembered I left some clothes in my parent’s car. Thinking no one would see if I quickly slipped outside in the nude, I opened the door to find an elderly old woman looking for my father. Needless to say, I wasn’t quite what she was expecting. She slammed the door in my face and screamed about how “lost this generation is”.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Studied for tests. Probably wouldn’t have gotten deferred from Georgia if I did.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “I’ve Got the World on a String” by Frank Sinatra.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Jonathan Koch. First, if you think he doesn’t teach here anymore, you simply aren’t looking hard enough. Second, never in my life have I seen a man with a better sock and tie game. Absolutely unparalleled.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Some sunglasses, Margot Robbie, and a pair of Chubbies swim trunks.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? There are three different places I could be. I will either be looking for different theater productions to be a part of in New York, be working for a sports broadcasting company in the city I went to college in and be the play by play announcer for that school’s football team, or have won the lottery and be living with my wife and two dogs in the largest house in Cumming, GA.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Find out who told Donald Trump that running for president was a good idea and hit him with a truck. Then I would do everything on the bucket list that myself and Andrew Sabonis-Chafee made.

Beck Coxhead:

What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Auburn, Clemson, GT and Furman.
What were you involved with in high school? Cross Country, swimming, soccer, Atlanta mission trips, peer leadership, freshman girls Bible study and honor council.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Glenn Hogan in 1st grade.
What is your most embarrassing moment? In 8th grade, I was at Marist for a dive meet, and in the middle of the meet I really had to go to the bathroom. Once I was done and flushed the toilet, the whole thing started to overflow. I ran outside so that I could get away only to realize that it was my turn to dive again. Now knowing what I was doing, I failed my dive.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Played basketball or taken forensics.
What is the theme song to your life? “Like a Boss” by Lonely Island
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Coach McDaniel has a pretty cool job. He gets to teach peer leadership and he coaches Cross Country which is one of my favorite sports.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? An endless supply of Breyers Oreo ice cream, an endless supply of apples and my friends.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Married with some kids living in Clarkston and working as a teacher and calling Ellie Bradach everyday.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would go bungee jumping somewhere cool, and then spend the rest of the day hanging out with my friends and eating all the ice cream I could.

Jeffery Willis:

What colleges are you applying to? UNC, UGA and Clemson.
What were you involved with in high school? Swim team.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Maggie Hanaklau in 2nd grade (contraty to popular belief that it was Sophia Strickland in Kindergarten or Lily Wu in 3rd grade).
What is your most embarrassing moment? The summer before junior year, I was coaching summer league swim team and the little boys always thought it was funny to “pants” me when I had my Speedo on underneath my swim trunks. During one of the meets, I was talking to three moms on the team while weaing only my trunks (no Speedo or shirt), an an 8-year-old boy of one of the moms came up behind me and ripped my suit all the way down to my ankles.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Continued my football career.
What is the theme song to your life? “Break the Law” by Mac Miller.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Connor because his grammar is impeccable.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My mini-wiener dog Bella, unlimited Coke Zero and unlimited chia seeds.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I want to be doing my medical residency and married with a weiner dog.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would go to the beach with my family and all my closest friends.

Kendall Dearth:

What colleges are you applying to? Samford, Auburn and Furman.
What were you involved with in high school? Track, Young Life, Bible studies and attempted to swim for a season and cross country.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Clint Prettyman. We carpooled freshman year and it was love at first sight (even though we never talked on the rides to school).
What is your most embarrassing moment? In Mr. Cleveland’s WWII class, we do trivia for the first couple minutes of class each day. I was oddly obsessed with goldfish during the time and thought it would be funny to make a goldfish trivia for the class to do. I thought it was hilarious, but everyone just looked at me and I got made fun of for a while.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Gone to Crooked Creek Ranch with Young Life.
What is the theme song to your life? “Firework” by Katy Perry.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Coach White because she lives a pretty nice life. She gets to sleep in and really only comes to school during practices.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Unlimited supply of Chick Fila sweet tea, music and a hammock.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Traveling the world, maybe riding elephants in Thailand.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? For sure go swim with the Killer Whales/Ocras at Sea World. It’s been a lifelong dream of mine and hey I know the Orcas at Sea World have a tendency to kill people, but I mean if I only have 24 hours to live why not.

Cole Mannion:

What colleges are you applying to? Samford, Mercer, Lehigh, Clemson, Auburn and Rhodes.
What were you involved with in high school? Football, Baseball, Model Arab League, Student Government and Young Life.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Ashlee Fincher in Kindergarten. We kissed in the bushes.
What is your most embarrassing moment? I only scored two points in my entire seventh grade basketball season.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Taken AP physics. It seems really fun and easy.
What is the theme song to your life?  “Freeze” by Zac Brown Band.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Josh Smith because he has an entire room to himself, which gives him room for activities.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Miss Barbra the lunch lady, Wild Berry Skittles and God’s Blog.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Making my living as an NFL agent with a family and a golden retriever.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Spend time with my friends and family, and then go run around on the field at a sporting event. and see how long I can run around without being caught.

Jenny VanLeake:

What colleges are you applying to? GT, UGA, Auburn and Columbia.
What were you involved with in high school? Volleyball, tennis, senior class officer, ambassador, Lit Mag, Prom Com, Hand in Hand and freshman senior Bible study.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Jeffery Willis in 5th grade.
What is your most embarrassing moment? When I choked on water and threw up in English class in middle school. Because I was actually sick and my parents were at my sisters’ tennis match a couple hours away, I told the nurse I was fine and went back to class and of course everyone knew that I had thrown up. It was horrible.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had some sort of acting/musical ability so I could have been in a play.
What is the theme song to your life?  “Crazy” by Ben Rector.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Morris because she is awesome and she has a plethora of interesting stories about any topic.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A small plane, and instruction guide for flying a plane and a very accurate GPS.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I want to have job that I enjoy, which happens to never require me to be awake before 9 AM. I also want to be on the way to having a family.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Probably spend a majority of it trying to decide how to spend those 24 hours. Then, I would spend time with my family and friends and do things like go skydiving and scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef.

William Schneider:

What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Auburn, UNC, Clemson and UVA.
What were you involved with in high school? Lacrosse, Young Life, Young Mens Service Leauge, DC United.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Carmen Mindt, Kindergarten.
What is your most embarrassing moment? Getting on the Kiss Cam at the Braves game four times in the same game.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Water Polo.
What is the theme song to your life? “Stressed Out” by Twenty One Pilots
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Dr. G because he is incredibly smart and an amazing teacher.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Some water, a fishing pole, and SAGE dining services.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be married and have a successful career.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Spend time with my closest friends and family.

Olivia Larner:

What colleges are you applying to? Vanderbilt, Furman, Washington University, Baylor and Northwestern.
What were you involved with in high school? Theatre, NCL, lacrosse and lacrosse managing, Vet club, and a glorious one year of softball.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Christopher Walton and Shelton Gotlich in pre-first.
What is your most embarrassing moment? When Maddie Frye broke my bra during Beauty and the Beast in 6th grade.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Tried out for cheerleading, not actually done it, just tried out.
What is the theme song to your life?  “Don’t Stop the Music” by Rihanna.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Grogan because she is amazing at science.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A helicopter, a pilot, and lots of fuel. I don’t like deserted islands.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I will be fresh out of medical school and starting my residency. I will have a really cute doctor boyfriend who will go on medical mission trips with me.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Eat lots of sushi and hang out with my friends and family and probably freak out.

Joey Gaddis:

What colleges are you applying to? Ole Miss, Valdosta State, Georgia Southern and University of Tennessee-Chattanooga.
What were you involved with in high school? JV football, Young Life, Cross Country, wrestling, track & field and rocketry club.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Madison parks.
What is your most embarrassing moment? Hard to say, I don’t really show much embarassment.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had participated in water polo just for the heck of it.
What is the theme song to your life? Either “Trouble On My Mind” by Pusha T ot “Touch of Grey” by the Grateful Dead, depends on the day I have.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Chad McDaniel because he’s a great guy and coach, plus everybody loves hearing his voice on their answering machines at 6:30am saying school is closed for the day due to snow.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My eno, my iPod with Spotify premium and the Catcher and the Rye.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Having a well-paying job while raising my 9-year-old.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would hang out with my friends and family for a few hours and then road trip to my beach condo and enjoy the last few hours sitting in a beach chair staring at the ocean.

Anna Mosley

What colleges are you applying to? UGA and Auburn.
What were you involved with in high school? Soccer, Water Polo, Swimming, Football managing, Vet Club, Young Life, mission trips and Student Led Worship.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Cole Mannion in 6th grade.
What is your most embarrassing moment? Failing my driving test 3 times or losing Maggie Borbone’s dog on the football field before the Stratford game.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Cross Country one year.
What is the theme song to your life? “Anna Sun” by Walk the Moon.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Dr. G because he is probably the greatest man I have ever met, and everyone loves him.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Bear Grylls, a boat and my dog Blue.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be a happy, married veterinarian with a child and more on the way.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? After getting over the fact that I’m about to die, I would day goodbye to my family and friends then die doing something fun, but dangerous.

Cedric Lynch:

What colleges are you applying to? University of Oregon, University of Southern California, Georgia Southern, Hofstra, Lawrence and North Carolina Central.
What were you involved with in high school? Football, basketball and track & field.
Who was your first Wesleyan crush? When? Lilliana Bardi.
What is your most embarrassing moment? When I cut my hair while my parents went out of town and I had to go to school the next day knowing I messed up. However, I got a couple compliments.
What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had gotten more involved in school club and activities.
What is the theme song to your life?  “Final Hour” by Big Sean.
If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Dr. G because he is a legend. He is loved by everyone.
If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Food, a computer with wifi and a football.
What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Graduated from college with a degree, have established a career whether it’s in sports, graphic design or engineering and be married.
Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? First, tell everyone that I love them for the last time. Second, amend any broken relationship I had with a person or people. Third, give all my shoes away to Christian Scott and donate my clothes to others. Lastly, hold and attend my own home-going celebration to hear what everybody would have to say at my funeral.

Alex Burke:

  1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Missouri, Syracuse, GA Southern, North Georgia
  2. What were you involved with in high school? I’m doing Diversity Club and Model Arab League right now. I was a member of the undefeated water polo team this year and I’m looking forward to the swim season!
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Mackenzie Sullivan.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When Leo Mateu and Drew Aspinwall wrote a fake mission trip letter from Caroline Cusick (to me) and letting me bask in the glory until telling me later on that it was fake.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Introduced myself to Caroline Cusick and Maddie Frye.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Back To Back” –Drake.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Probably Coach Hart. He gets to wake up early on Tuesdays and Thursdays and hang out with Jack Greer.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Good question. I would want to bring a couch, Netflix, and some ice.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I want to be so rich and successful that girls actually start texting me first.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would thank the Wesleyan faculty and staff for their dedication to their students’ success and their passion for making Wesleyan a safe, fun learning environment where kids can be themselves and grow to their full potential.

Micayla Kane:

1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Clemson, Auburn, Berry, Baylor, GA Tech, Cornell, UNC Chapel Hill, Vanderbilt.
2. What were you involved with in high school? YoungLife, SLW, freshman/ senior girls bible study, swim team, the one and only president of the vet club.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Josh Garrard in 6th grade.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When I ran into the Wesleyan gate… oh wait… @carolinebeltrami.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Water polo!!
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Fast” – Luke Bryan.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would definitely be Dr. G. He’s probably my favorite person – he’s taught me everything. He’s amazingly selfless and loving. Also, I’ve never met someone who doesn’t love him.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? I would bring my horse (shockingly), a lot of food, and Chris Pratt (for Jurassic Park level protection, of course).
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be finishing grad school, settling down, and really enjoying wherever life has brought me.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would travel the world, spend time with the people I love, and pray – a lot.

Megan Williams:

2. What were you involved with in high school? Soccer, XC, Honor Council, Peer Leadership, Hand-in-Hand, Lit Mag
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Cole Mannion in 6th grade
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I was walking in the Senior Hallway on the first day of my freshman year when I rolled my ankle in my brand-spanking new wallabees. I not only face-planted in front of all of the seniors, but my books flew across the hallway as well.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Cheerleading, (I have a stellar toe touch).
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Stressed Out” by 21 Pilots (thanks Wesleyan).
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Ms. Trotter because she can singlehandedly brighten up anyone’s day, and she always has the cutest clothing.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, the 7th Harry Potter book, and Rebekah Middlebrooks to serenade me 24 hours of the day.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I would like to be married with a few kids living in either Georgia or Tennessee and working in some type of occupation involving teenagers.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Visit as many cool coffee shops as I can and then teleport to New Zealand.

Rebekah Middlebrooks:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Mizzou, UGA, Belmont, NYU, Syracuse, Vanderbilt, Auburn and Clemson.
2. What were you involved with in high school?  Theater, chapel band, peer leadership, yearbook, mission trips, volleyball, cross country, track, Vet Club.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Kyle Rappe, freshman year.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Sophomore year, Leo Mateu decided to tell a certain faculty fellow that I thought he was “cute” and he should go talk to me. This certain faculty fellow proceeded to introduce himself to me by saying, “Hi, I’m ____ and I was told you think I’m cute?” Leo continues to embarrass me by having this fellow call me every year on my birthday to wish me a happy birthday. The tradition still continues to this day.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Green & Gold.
6. What is the theme song to your life?  “Edge of Seventeen” Stevie Nicks
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Morris, she’s everything I aspire to be and more.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A plane with a pilot, music, and Ben and Jerry’s (Jimmy Fallon Tonight Dough flavor sure).
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I’ve always dreamed of living in New York and writing for a magazine like Rolling Stone or Vogue, but I also want to get married and have a family so finding a way to combine the 2 would be nice.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I wish I could say something really cool but honestly I’d probably just panic that I only had 24 hours to live.

Chandler Marsh:

1. What colleges are you applying to? University of Florida, UGA, Clemson, Auburn and UNG.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Prom Committee.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Kylie Reed 7th .
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? One time in middle school, I convinced my friends that I had fought and killed a baby beaver with my bare hands. I then had a birthday party a couple weeks later where my friends asked my brother if this was true, and he couldn’t stop laughing for about 5 minutes. He then continued to embarrass me about it and call me out in front of all my friends and I cried.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Theatre.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Desperado” by the Eagles and “Our Song” by Taylor Swift
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Kendra Morris. She is the most amazing human that you will ever meet and she is actually my best friend. She is also the most reasonable teacher when it comes to moving assignments if we have other schoolwork. Plus she always gives me food and that’s amazing.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My puppies, Unlimited Panda Express, and Margot Robbie.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to have a job and a family. I want to be living in the South and be traveling a lot.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would go to Bones Steakhouse, then go try and rob a huge store like Bass Pro Shop or REI.

Christina Ashley:

1. What colleges are you applying to? Emory University, University of Richmond, Davidson College, Birmingham-Southern College and Furman University.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Team Omicron, softball, SALSA, Peer Leadership, girl’s basketball manager, ambassadors.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? I’ve honestly never had a crush on a Wesleyan student.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When I went to Trinity House my freshman year, someone finished their story I yelled out, “Thanks Sharon!” instead of “Thanks for sharing!” and everyone looked at me like I was an idiot.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had played softball freshman year.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Stressed Out” by Twenty One Pilots.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would be Mrs. Grogan because she gets to blow things up and not get in trouble.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My laptop, my best friend, and a memory foam pillow.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be somewhere making a difference. I want to be happy with whatever I’m doing, but never satisfied.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would just spend that time with my family and eat gumbo.

Bailey Borreson:

1. What colleges are you applying to? UGA, Boston University, Boston College, UNC Wilmington, Northeastern, William and Mary, Davidson, Elon, College of Charleston and Auburn.
2. What were you involved with in high school? JV Golf, Varsity Tennis, Bible Study, Symphonic Band and National Charity League.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Carter Gravitt, 4th grade.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Every time I’ve fallen, especially that time in the Paris airport. Also getting pooped on by a bird at the Vatican.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? The musical.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “Defying Gravity” from Wicked.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would be Kendra Morris for obvious reasons. She is kind-hearted, hilarious, and smart. Who doesn’t love her?
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My mom, a fishing pole, and the cast of Parks and Recreation.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to have a job that I love, maybe be married, and just loving life.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would watch Sound of Music with my mom, go deep sea fishing, and then spend the last couple hours eating all my favorite foods with my friends and family.

Drew Aspinwall:

  2. What were you involved with in high school? Football, Baseball, Basketball, YMSL, Peer Leadership, Wolf Ambassador, Young Life, and Model Arab League.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Camille High- 8th grade- We dated, and then she respectfully broke up with me over text.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When I cried at Ippolito’s in 3rd or 4th grade because my mom wouldn’t let me eat another roll. I had already eaten.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had gotten involved in Young Life a lot earlier in High School instead of waiting until my Senior Year.

  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? A Boat, a GPS, and enough food for my ride home. I really do not like the idea of being stranded on an island.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Living out my purpose for my life and doing something I enjoy.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would spend my time with the people I love and do the things I love.

Glenn Hogan:

1. What colleges are you applying to? University of Florida, Florida State University, Clemson University and University of Georgia.
2. What were you involved with in high school? Football, Soccer and Boyscouts.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? I guess it would probably have to be Kylie Reed in Kindergarten she had the most beautiful blue eyes.
4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Probably my 8th grade chorus concert. In the middle of the concert I screamed out “Pave Low Inbound” when everyone was silent. I thought I was going to have tons of others by my side, but either they all chickened out or I was just stupid enough to actually do it. I was definitely not the favorite child for a while.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I definitely wish I could’ve kissed Abbey Coppenger, because now I could say that I got a kiss by a Georgia Cheerleader, and that would be legendary.
6. What is the theme song to your life? “If you are going through hell”, by John Michael Montgomery.
7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would probably be Mr. Cleveland, because he can get away with whatever he wants. I mean no one is going to question him to cut the lunch line multiple times. He’s got a lot of power, and it would be really fun to mess with students when they are scared of you.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Well, I’d probably start off with some duck-tape, you can never go wrong with that stuff. And I have to have good company, so probably some girl, but I haven’t thought that through yet. And finally, a fire starter you gotta be able to set the mood with the “company,” especially without Netflix and chill.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Sunny and 75°.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would do whatever took my mind off the time and made me happy with whomever made me happy, “cause hey, if I’m gonna die, might as well not worry about it.”

Leah Davis:

2. What were you involved with in high school? volleyball, diving, track, football managing, hand-in-hand and freshman/Senior bible study.
3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush?  Clint Prettyman in 5th grade, he was my boyfriend for 3 weeks.
4.What is your most embarrassing moment? In 7th grade, it was the week before honors day and Mr. Baxley had done a social awareness Wednesday on how to accept an award and emphasized that you should not trip up the stairs. Of course I was the one kid that tripped up the stairs and people started laughing and he just stared me down as I walked to my seat.
5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Nothing. I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to in high school.
6. What is the theme song of your life? “Do My Thang” – Miley Cyrus.
7. If you could be one faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mrs. Morris because she is very smart and funny and no matter how much she has on her plate, she always seems like she has everything together.
8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My bed, food and sunscreen.
9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope to be married enjoying life with a dog.
10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I’d spend it with the people I love, maybe go skydiving or do something crazy depending on how freaked out I am about the whole dying in 24 hours thing.

4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Accidently sending a snapchat of me singing to “Same Old Love” by Selena Gomez to Mrs. Kozlova.

7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Mr. Kadzis because he gets to coach water polo every year.

  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Starting a management job at a Private equity firm and getting married a few years later.

  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When Grant Sauer and I were freshmen, we (sort of) went to the bathroom on Sydney Weissman’s trampoline. 
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? I wish I had tried being in a play.

  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? If I could be any faculty member, I think I would be Coach McDaniel. He is a big-fan favorite around the Wesleyan community and also just a funny, relatable and nice dude. Not to mention that he gets to deliver the news when school gets cancelled.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? I would bring my Bible, my fishing pole, and my dog Joker.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? In ten years, I want to be married to have a job that makes absolute bank. And to have two German Shepherds.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would parachute out of a helicopter and land in the Great Barrier reef and immediately shed my parachute and go scuba diving. Then, I would eat a meal consisting of Chick Fil A sweet tea, a steak bowl with guac from chipotle, and then molten lava cake from Chili’s. Then I would spend whatever time is left with my friends and family.

  2. What were you involved with in high school? Cross country, swimming, soccer, track, Lit Mag, peer leadership, Hand in Hand and Prom Com.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Ren Schmitt in kindergarten- he was a football player for career day.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When I was about 8, I went to the mall with my mom and sister in my green Juicy sweat-suit. Feeling and looking fly, I decided to throw a penny in the fountain and make a wish. I climbed up onto the ledge to get a better angle and threw my penny in. I guess I didn’t let go or something, but next thing I know, I’m soaking wet and sitting in the fountain. I climb out soaked and proceed to walk around the mall leaving puddles wherever I go until I bought a different outfit.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Cheerleading; I wish I could do a backflip.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Oh Yeah”- the one from “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” when they take the car. 
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Probably Mr. Kadzis aka Kad-dad cause not only does he get to hang out with the swim team all the time, but I would also like to hit students’ desks with a bat when talking about Big Stick Diplomacy.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Chris Pratt, Taylor Swift and Ben and Jerry’s.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I would like to be married with kids and be working… probably in physical therapy.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Travel, eat and panic.

Emma Anderson

  1. What colleges are you applying to? Northwestern, UGA, Davidson, Washington University in St. Louis, Baylor, Miami of Ohio, Wake Forest.
  2. What were you involved with in high school? Theatre, Student Led Worship, Creative Writing Guild, the newly-crowned Drama Club, Yearbook, and the Serve His League (before Mr. Emmelhainz’s re-naming of the organization). 
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Like many young, new freshman, my peer leader, Ben Johnson.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I mistakenly “replied all” to an email sent by Mrs. Morris. The entire senior class received my sarcastic RSVP to the senior party, detailing how I am a “heathen” and am “purposely RSVPing late.” I chose to send a secondary response, detailing how I am choosing to not apologize, but rather “relish in the embarrassment and shame.” I received many texts after the first, fated press of the “send” button.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Mock Trial would’ve been a good time. Despite my aversion to conflict, I feel I could’ve made a good witness.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Stressed Out” by Twenty One Pilots.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? (In order to fulfill my side of the deal) I would totally be Mr. Dawson Zimmerman. He’s just a rad guy. He teaches English. He wears ties and shoes. (I will now accept my payment of $3000 and the access code to Powerschool in full)
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? I would want to have an iPod with unlimited data so I could stream my Spotify library, a journal with one of those fun attached pens, as well as Bear Grylls. I hear he’s pretty decent at wilderness survival. 
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years?  If all my 11:11 wishes come true, I will be working towards my goal of being a successful film/theatre director. And, if all my birthday wishes come into play, I’ll have started writing my Oscar/Tony award-winning script. But if I’m super, duper lucky, it’ll star Benedict Cumberbatch and Rossy de Palma. 
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? Spend time with my family and my best friends. I would fly around the country and see the people I love most. Despite the general belief that dankness and despair pervades traveling, I love airports and planes and trains; I wouldn’t mind because I would be doing it not only with people I love, but knowing the destination would be equally as lovely.

  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When I had an allergic reaction and my lips turned black during school.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Played softball or become involved in more school clubs and activities.

  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Either Doctor G or Mrs. Morris because everyone loves G and Mrs. Morris.

  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully, I’ll have a family and will be living a lavish lifestyle.

  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I was a narrator in the 4th grade play, and my brother was a sophomore. I walked out on stage and my brother and his friends immediately yelled, “Willett” and everybody laughed so loud that nobody heard my lines…
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Water Polo freshman year.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins.
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Candler Baxley, I wish I could come up with nicknames as legendary as his.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Some Sudoku, a good leather-bound book and my good friend Baxter.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Living in a nice house with an excellent kitchen, married, stay at home dad and a proud owner of a Honda Odyssey.

  2. What were you involved with in high school? Lacrosse, XC, JV Basketball, Swim team, YoungLife, Prom Com.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Clint Prettyman in Kindergarten. ALL the girls chased him on the playground.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? One time I got a bruise because I accidentally kicked my dresser while dancing alone in my room… to a Disney song.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? The two musicals, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying” and “Into the Woods”
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “When will my life begin” -Tangled
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Ms. Trotter because she’s adorable and quirky and has the best clothes. 
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? Brookside chocolate, a guitar and a beautiful boy who knows how to play that guitar.
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Hopefully, I’ll have figured out what I want to do and I’ll be doing it, while being surrounded by people that I love. 
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? All of my bucket-list items, like meeting famous people, skydiving, crowd surfing, regular surfing, and doing all of it with the people I love the most.

  2. What were you involved with in high school? Cross country, track, swimming, Wolf Ambassadors, Vet Club, Wolf Pack, Peer Leadership, YoungLife, mission trips.
  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Glenn Hogan, kindergarten.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? I used to be a competitive dancer, and for one of our dances we had to wear fake ponytails. In the middle of the routine, mine flew across the stage and someone in the audience yelled, “Squirrel!” We ended up getting 10 points deducted for the “wardrobe malfunction,” and it was the only thing that kept us from getting a gold medal.
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? The Winter musical.
  6. What is the theme song to your life? “Express Yourself” by Charles Wright. 
  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? I would definitely want to be a combination of Ms. Trotter and Dr. G. Ms. Trotter (Mtrott) because she is the cutest thing ever and I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love her. She has had such a big impact on my life. Dr. G because there are few people in this world that don’t know how to love better than him. 
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you? My sister, music and ponytail holders for my mane. 
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? I hope that I will be doing something in the medical field. I would love to be living in the south and enjoying an awesome married life doing fun things (traveling, hiking, etc.) with my husband before kids come along the following year.
  10. Assuming you had 24 hours to live, what would you do with your remaining hours? I would want to spend lots of time with my family and closest friends doing something outside. Just hanging out and being together would be enough. It would be a really cool time to reflect on what an amazing life I’ve had and just embrace my last few moments.

  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Falling in the pyramid at the homecoming pep-rally sophomore year. 
  5. What is one thing you wish you had done in high school? Took more selfies with Greg.

  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Coach Pridgen so I could see what life is like from way up there.

  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Have a wife and maybe some kids. Living on a lake up in the mountains where I am close to a ski resort. I would also like a sustainable job so I can afford that lifestyle.

  7. If you could be any faculty member, who would you be? Why? Joe Tamel because he writes witty e-mails and has the ability to mock students without being too offensive.
  8. If you were stranded on a desert island, what three things would you want to have with you?  My sister, cell phone and some avocados. 
  9. What do you hope your life will be like in 10 years? Working a job I love, surrounded by people who make me laugh and owning quite a few dogs.
