Alumni Give Advice to Graduates

“I wished I realized that everyone has a different path of life ahead of them. There’s no right way and no one knows what they’re doing. Embrace it. I loved knowing the faculty’s names at Wesleyan. I don’t think many people realize how beautiful the Wesleyan campus is. There is always such green grass and fresh pine straw. The Wesleyan community is still so loving and supportive it is. It feels like home. Go Wolves.”

Alumni Athletes Inducted into Circle of Honor

The Athletic Circle of Honor is a program that is dedicated to honor the alumni athletes that performed tremendously during their time at Wesleyan. Each year since 2007, athletes have been inducted after holding a rigorous process. Inductees must be a graduate of at least five years, earned a varsity leader in each of the sports they participated in and must have exhibited excellent abilities in their sports during their time at Wesleyan. Freshman Kaylynn Kirklen said, “The Circle of Honor is for the alumni who have shown honor and dedication to Wesleyan through athletics and have impacted the community through their sports by winning state championships or breaking records.” Keep Reading

Entrepreneurs Lead with Passion

Wesleyan instills a “Go Get ‘Em” mentally in the students. From the classroom to locker rooms to the conference room students are taught to lead with passion. Many young adults have graduate from Wesleyan with the knowledge of how to start a company in the real world.

Alumni Spencer Sutlive (’16) and Henry Collins (’16) started their outdoors company right after leaving the halls of Wesleyan. Rugged Road Outdoors is a company that sells outdoor gear for camping and hiking. The products vary from clothing, to packs and any other equipment needed for an outdoor excursion. Sutlive said, “we are hoping to release our coolers in the Spring.” Keep Reading

One of the most unique aspects of Wesleyan is the Alumni Fund. Wesleyan alumni will always be loved among the community. They are the ones who have shaped Wesleyan to be what it is today. Students will always remember their special time at Wesleyan; whether that is in the classroom, on the field or spending quality time building a friendship. Teachers and faculty are people that students will never forget. Those are the people who students look up to as role models and mentors. As February, the month of love approached, Wesleyan School Athletic Director, Marc Khedouri was working on an enormous act of love. Khedouri and friends donated $60,000 to all the Wesleyan high school students and faculty with only one instruction on what to do with the money:

Do something beautiful for God.
