Spring Sports Blossom into the Season

As the seasons change, spring sports have already begun at Wesleyan. The spring sports offered are lacrosse, soccer, tennis, golf, baseball and track. Before the season began, all the teams had pre-season workouts with Strength and Conditioning Coach Dustin Wolf. After pre-season workouts, students were to try out for their desired sport. Every day after school, you will find students participating in their sports at the stadium, lake field, tennis courts and baseball field.

Fall Senior Signing: Wesleyan Student Athletes Continue Their Athletic Careers

With all the talent Wesleyan students have, it is bound to happen that some may commit to play sports at the collegiate level. Each season, there is a signing ceremony where certain athletes officially commit and are celebrated for their athletic accomplishments. This fall, five senior girls participated in the ceremony, playing sports like lacrosse, softball, volleyball and basketball. Teacher Spotlight: Anna Myrick

From Milton to Wesleyan, people have always appreciated the joy and the high spirits Anna Myrick exudes. High school chemistry and varsity lacrosse coach, Myrick, is a beloved faculty member at Wesleyan. Myrick grew up in the Greater Atlanta area, graduated from Milton High School, and later graduated from Georgia Tech with a business finance and pre-med major. During her time at Georgia Tech, she began tutoring students in calculus, physics and chemistry. Keep Reading
