Wesleyan School premiered a night many will remember for the rest of their lives, A Night in Old Hollywood. After countless hours put it by the prom committee, the final product was truly a sight and their hard work paid off as they took Wesleyan back in time to 1950s Hollywood. Juniors and seniors walked the red carpet as they awaited an extraordinary night filled with dancing, music and themed hors d’oeuvres galore.
The “Black Panther,” which debuted Feb. 16, is the latest Marvel superhero solo movie. Ever since the last Avengers (Civil War) movie where the superhero Black Panther made his first appearance, his solo cameo has been highly anticipated. Although the movie did satisfy many people who went in with high expectations, for others it did not quite meet those same expectations. Keep Reading
The Golden Globe Awards Ceremony aired on Jan. 7, and was a very significant event for a variety of different reasons. Almost every actor who attended the event wore a Time’s Up badge to support and commemorate their appearance at the awards to those who were victims of sexual harassment. This movement was prompted by the large number of Hollywood actors that have been coming out with stories of being sexually harassed and abused by people in positions of power in the industry.
