With the summer comes a lot of different things: sunburns, vacations and beards, if you are a boy. One major component of summer is music. The Green & Gold decided to ask high school students of every grade to share their summer favorites.

These songs include both old and new songs. Some of the old songs include: “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel, “Box of Rain” by Grateful Dead and “Take me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver. Some of the new songs include “The Middle” by Zedd, “No Tears Left to Cry” by Ariana Grande and “Speechless” by Dan + Shay.

Wesleyan students have been forced to come to an inevitable conclusion: summer has drawn to a close.

Some may consider the arrival of a new school year a blessing, but to many, even the thought of new textbooks and OneNote notebooks is enough to send them over the edge.
