Who was your first Wesleyan crush?

Liam Coxhead.

What was your most embarrassing Wesleyan moment?

At one of the first lunches in my second semester as a senior, I tripped going through the door and fell flat on lunchroom floor in front of everyone trying to get in. Throughout lunch, people came up to me and told me how hilarious it was.

What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?

I wish I had been able to take an art class or two.

If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?

I would go on a road trip with my closest friends, going as far as we could make it and stopping anywhere, we want along the way.

What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?

I wanted to be either veterinarian or an astronaut, and I still want to be an astronaut. Keep Reading

2019: The New Era of Disney Movies

This year, Disney will release new live-animated versions of their old movies as well as sequences such as “Frozen 2” and “Toy Story 4.” The Disney movies making headlines which are set to be released this year are “Dumbo,” “The Lion King,” “Toy Story 4” and “Aladdin.”

Most of the original movies like “Aladdin” and “The Lion King” were initially released in the 1990s. These movies were a success as the films are still talked about today and were now created in a new-live action adaptation.

Checkmate to the Fall Musical: CHESS

At Wesleyan School, the Fall Musical was “CHESS” a comedic/dramatic musical that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the show. The show includes a love story, a scandal and much more.

The musical has been referred to as a metaphor for the Cold War, with the insinuation being made that the Cold War is itself a manipulative game. Released and staged at the height of the strong anti-communist agenda that came to be known as the Reagan Doctrine. Chess addressed and satirized the hostility of the international political atmosphere of the 1980s. The plot line of CHESS was about a woman named Florence Vassy, who is a second to the US Chess Champion, Freddie Trumper. Florence has a really rocky past with her mother dying, her father presumed dead, and she is basically alone with herself. Another man named Anatoly Sergievsky, the Russian Chess Champion, goes against Freddie Trumper in the Chess Championship, but also falls in love with Florence Vassy, which causes trouble because he has a wife. Georgia Citizens Prepare for Election

A month before elections, Georgia citizens are involved doing several things: putting yard signs of candidates out in the yard, setting up voting registration, and advertising for their preferred candidate.

The previous election for the House of Representatives was on November 2016 which means there will be an election this year since representatives only have two-year terms. Elections for the House of Representatives will be occurring not just in Georgia, but across the nation.

From one point of view, the Enneagram can be seen as a set of nine distinct personality types, with each number on the Enneagram representing one type of personality. It is common to find a little of yourself in all nine of the types, although one of them should stand out as being closest to yourself.
