In fifth grade, I ended a conversation with Mrs. Lacy with “love you, bye!” Even though she laughed and gracefully responded “love you too!” I was mortified and didn’t speak to her for several days.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
Taken art classes instead of study halls freshman and sophomore year.
If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?
I would travel someplace outdoors that I’d never been before with my close friends, family and my pets.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
I grew up wanting to be a vet and now I want to be a doctor.

8th grade spelling bee, I really botched an easy word, I don’t even remember what it is now.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
Taken AP Environmental Science.
If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?
Travel.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
I think at some point I wanted to be a firefighter, but now I don’t know what I want to do, so at least I’ve made progress.

I smacked my face on a front double when I was diving that I blacked out face down in the water.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
I wish I had done a play.
If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?
I would go to go Miami to bungee jump with my family and steal the biggest yatch I could find.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
I wanted to be a professional tennis player and now I want to be a pediatric nurse.

What was your most embarrassing Wesleyan moment?
On the freshman retreat, we got really emotional during one of the chapels and as the leader started to pray, I looked around and most people were holding hands. I thought this was cool until I realized I was standing next to Ella V. Cooper. I never truly had crush on her, but I thought she was pretty so I got nervous. When we started holding hands, mine got clammy and it was embarrassing because we both looked up and everyone was done holding hands so we kind of just awkwardly stopped.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
Played Baseball.
If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?
Go skydiving.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
When I was a little kid, I wanted to be a policeman. Now, I want to be an aeronautical engineer.

What was your most embarrassing Wesleyan moment?
One day during Homecoming week of sophomore year I made the mistake of wearing Heelys to school. In between classes I was utilizing my shoes when I saw fellow sophomore Chloe Hangartner walking on the quad and began to roll to her. The wheels of my Heelys caught on the crack of the sidewalk and my momentum took my backpack over my head and face straight to the ground. Many people saw and I was incredibly embarrassed.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
I wish I had continued to do theater and been a part of a show in high school.
If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?
Take all my family and friends to the lake and spend the entire day out on the water.
What was yousr dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a famous singer, and now I want to be a physical therapist.

Mary Ann Manley freshman year in Public Speaking.
What was your most embarrassing Wesleyan moment?
During summer workouts for football freshman year, I was new at Wesleyan, and I threw up all over the weight room in front of the rest of the football team.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
Passed a math exam.

Go skydiving.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
When I was little, I wanted to be a garbage man, but now I want to be a lawyer.

Grant Summers.
What was your most embarrassing Wesleyan moment?
Once I told Dr. G I was afraid of snakes and when I came in class the next day there was a snake on my desk. He announced that day in class was all about me overcoming my fear and we spent the day dissecting a snake.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
I wished my mom would let us move closer to the school.
If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?
I would visit all of my favorite restaurants with my best friends and Suzzy.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
Growing up I wanted to be the first African American President of the United States. Now I hope to become a child advocate for at risk children in the foster care system.

I used to want to be a teacher, but now I want to own a retail store.

Throwing up in the trash can on the way to the nurse in 5th grade.

Nothing.

Go to the beach with my friends and family.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
When I was a kid, I just wanted to be a mom, now I want to be a graphic designer, but if I end up not having to work and just be a mom, I’m great with that too.

Casey Bell in 8th grade.
What was your most embarrassing Wesleyan moment?
During marching band rehearsal, I called our color guard instructor “Sir” by accident and very loudly to boot, even though she is a girl. My drumline buddies scolded me for it, as is their custom.
What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?
Never done Math Team and done Model Arab League all four years.
If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?
Get as far away from Atlanta as I can.
What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?
I always wanted to be a biologist when I was younger. Now I want to be a Foreign Service Officer and work for the State Department.
