  3. Who was your first Wesleyan crush? Katherine Facteau in fifth grade.
  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? When I was younger my uncles used to mess with me and my brother by “pantsing” us sometimes. So I always thought that was just a normal thing to do. So one time we went to Dairy Queen with a bunch of our friends. Since I thought “pantsing” people was a perfectly normal thing to do, I decided to do it to one of my friends. Instead of everyone laughing at me like I thought they would, I got a stern talking to from my mom as everyone just stared at me like I was crazy (including the other customers at the DQ). I now know that “pantsing” people in public is frowned upon.

  4. What is your most embarrassing moment? Sophomore year during Monday morning meeting, nervous and awkward little Abbie was selected to go up on stage and participate in the chubby-bunny challenge. I am terrified of being on stage with all eyes on me, so obviously I was extremely nervous, shaking like crazy and sweating. Note: I hate marshmallows because they make me feel like I’m going to throw up. So they gave us two giant marshmallows (emphasis on the giant) to start off with, and I thought I was doing alright. On the second round, I underestimated the size of my mouth to giant marshmallow ratio when they gave us another giant marshmallow. I tried to get the marshmallow on the side of my mouth, but the marshmallow had other evil plans. The marshmallow went straight to the back of my throat, closing all airways that made it possible for me to breathe, and I was starting to feel like I was going to throw up. When they came to me to say “chubby bunny” I just shook my head trying to tell them that I wasn’t able to speak and breathe. I came so close to throwing up before they let me take the marshmallows out of my mouth. So yeah that’s when I almost threw up on stage in front of the entire high school!!!

Little did I know, my dad has a super sensitive car alarm in his car, so I barely moved, and the alarm started blaring. I got a ton of stares from everyone who was in the parking lot, but I had no way to turn it off without the key. All of a sudden this really cute young guy cop comes driving by in his cop car, and he motions to me, holds up a thumbs up, and mouths, “are you okay?” I had to give him an awkward thumbs up and nod, and I was super embarrassed.
