Wesleyan Marching Wolves Prepare for Best Year Yet

Clash! Ding! Boom! The Wesleyan marching band and visual performance ensemble set aside a week of their summer vacation in order to learn, practice, and memorize their music and field routine.

Not only does each person have to memorize dozens of individual placements, they must also memorize all their cues and music.

From piggybacking children all over campus to making new friends in the cabins, Wesleyan students had a fantastic time over the summer at many different camps around the world.

Whether they were traveling the world or participating in their communities at home, Wesleyan students had incredible opportunities this summer to take part in various summer camps.

It is that time of year again; Friday night lights has returned. Students, teachers and parents eagerly anticipate returning to Henderson Stadium to cheer on the wolves. Wesleyan’s football program is a major aspect of school life every fall, not only for the players and coaches, but also for the fans. From the Kickoff Dinner, to the Homecoming game and everything in between, the Wolves never fail to show up to support the team.

Girls Volleyball Aces the Competition

Defeating the 7A Gwinnett County Mountain View Bears in their first play day on Saturday, Aug. 13, the volleyball wolves have a promising start to their season. That same day the wolves also defeated Chattahoochee, a team they were unable to beat last season.

With six seniors on the team, the wolves have a lot of depth in almost every position this season.

Sophomores Join The Journalism Team

This year, not only will juniors and seniors be writing articles for the Green and Gold, but sophomores will now be tagging onto the team. Contrary to past years, sophomores have now become members of the Green and Gold staff for the first time ever.
