Who was your first Wesleyan crush?

Liam Coxhead.

What was your most embarrassing Wesleyan moment?

At one of the first lunches in my second semester as a senior, I tripped going through the door and fell flat on lunchroom floor in front of everyone trying to get in. Throughout lunch, people came up to me and told me how hilarious it was.

What is one thing you wished you had done in high school?

I wish I had been able to take an art class or two.

If you had 24 hours left to live, what would you do?

I would go on a road trip with my closest friends, going as far as we could make it and stopping anywhere, we want along the way.

What was your dream job when you were a little kid versus what is your dream job now?

I wanted to be either veterinarian or an astronaut, and I still want to be an astronaut. Keep Reading

Wesleyan Night of Worship

Family Night of Worship is where the Wesleyan Community comes together to worship not only during the day on Thursdays but also at night in a more comfortable environment. Only being the second year of the event, this year had a great turn out.

Full of amazing music, this year led by senior Annie Cowart, and an incredible devotion given from three different families.

March Madness: The Battle of the Best

Annually, the month of March attracts male and female spectators who create brackets and bet against odds for the NCAA’s Men’s Division 1 Basketball Tournament. March Madness features 68 teams who compete against each other until there is a champion. Last year, Villanova beat Michigan to become the 2018 National Champions. This year, each team has a chance to come out on top and show scouts and the NCAA how much talent they have. Keep Reading

Girls’ Basketball Team: Journey to State

After a season full of rebounding, blocking and shooting, the girls’ basketball team’s season ended at the Macon Centreplex on March 6. From October through March, the team invested several hours after school and on weekends improving their basketball skills.

The team officially began their season back in November against Pace Academy and were victorious against them with a win of 64-21. The team was always on the move, as they traveled to different schools for games and tournaments.

Freshman Kaylynn Kirklen said, “My favorite memory from basketball was being in the locker room and dancing with the team before both home and away games.”
