New Lower School Programs Emphasize Hands-On Learning

Since its founding in 1963, Wesleyan has grown in various ways. Campus expansion, new programs, new students and teachers and changes in policy are all a part of making Wesleyan the best it can be each year. Recently, the school has been focused on specific improvements in the Lower School. These developments include new programs called the Passport Club and the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) Lab as well as a discipleship program. Keep Reading

D.C. United is taking over the recreational soccer league. They are kicking off the season right with their 11-1 win in their very first game.

The members of D.C. United are seniors Abraaz Khan, Caroline Hodges, Anna Mosley, Austin Pack, Bennett Stamper, Christopher Walton, Clay Tyler, Haydon Koch, JT Eigel, Leo Mateu, Martin He, Megan Williams, William Schneider and team captain, Grant Sauer; juniors Alex Turner, Eric Panther and Nick Eversbusch. The team is coached by Land Bridgers, Greg Lisson and Ellie Hall, and cared for by their team mom, senior Marti Duke. Keep Reading

Wesleyan Teachers Rock Their Favorite Childhood Halloween Costumes

Mr. Cole- Mr. Cole’s favorite Halloween costume is the purple Teletubby, Tiny Winky. This is Mr. Cole’s favorite character. Mr. Cole was older when the show premiered in 1997, but was and is still an avid fan. He loves the color purple, and thought Tinky Winky was the best of the teletubbies because of his name.
